摘要:New self-lubricating bronze matrix composites were prepared for seals and the tribological mechanisms in antiwear hydraulic oil were explored. The tribological behavior of bronze matrix composites tribotesting against an AISI 52100 steel ball was investigated with a ball-on-disc tribotester over a wide range of applied load and sliding speed. The obtained results showed that the tribological properties of composites were markedly improved. The alumina enhanced the strength and wear resistance of composites. However, the friction coefficient increased due to the addition of alumina. Silver was an effective solid lubricant. The tribological properties of the new self-lubricating composites were improved because of the synergistic effect of silver and Al2O3.
